Hi.

So glad that you've taken some time to visit Create and Unwind - the home of Paint-Therapy creative events.
 

Creative time is empowering. When life is hard - physically or mentally, spending time in a relaxing place, doodling, drawing, painting, sewing, crocheting, knitting, or writing has been a refuge for me. I have taught myself to create art and write. Sewing and knitting were taught to me by my grandmothers and my mom.

I hope through this small business, that you are able to benefit not only from the social interaction that creating with others brings, but also from the healing benefits and sense of achievement you achieve  by creating something of your own. It's time to step away from life's "requirements" and have a couple hours of fun. 

This is not "formal" art instruction. It's not about color theory, art history or any other educational curriculum - it is simply- create with some guidance, and enjoy the experience.

About the Business:

Paint- Therapy is based in Forsyth County, North Carolina. Guided creative events are conducted by Ann Krier, a self-taught, whimsical artist located in Lewisville. 

​

We serve Forsyth, Davie and Yadkin counties creating a relaxing experience in a judgement free zone. 

​

We ask that you pledge to not judge your work or your neighbors work, and strive to relax and enjoy the time decompressing from the busy world that is every day life. You bring the energy, we support with a fun, social, risk free project.

We are happy to serve individual parties of 6 or more. We can provide service for restaurants, vineyards, breweries, senior living facilities, women's or men's church groups, children's groups, garden clubs, school events, and fundraising.

Each event provides supplies and materials. You provide the beverages, or snacks. If we are supporting a brewery, a vineyard or a restaurant, please plan on eating or drinking there and tipping your server appropriately. Outside food or beverage will not be allowed in those venues.
